- Honest About Limits

Preparation is the foundation of a smooth event: gear selection, setup brief, technical requirements — that work happens before any technician is on-site. If a Mochi Entertainment team lead is unavailable or for simple events, experienced technicians are deployed with a full brief built around your event.
How we plan
Our AV planning and execution priorities.
- 1
Safety, always first
All cables taped down or cable ramped, lighting placed in low-traffic areas, speakers properly secured.
- 2
Effectiveness
A poorly placed speaker won’t be heard. A moving head that blinds the VIP table is a headache. We make sure everything is set up to be as effective as possible.
- 3
Suitability
We set up in a way that hits your event objectives, whether that’s to get people dancing, to wow the crowd, or both.
- 4
Satisfaction
Last on the list, and that’s deliberate. It isn’t a step we perform. It’s what falls out when the first three are done right.
Walking into a venue we don’t know
The first thing we need is power. Not the size of the room or where the dancefloor is, but plug points. Without power, none of the equipment works.
Without good placement, you get black tape and cable ramps running everywhere your guests are walking (and it isn't pretty!).
Experience
What 14 Years Actually Means
It means Leon has been in rooms where the in-house sound failed an hour before a gala dinner. Where the outdoor event got rained on mid-setup. Where the client changed the entire programme at the last minute and the technical team had to adapt in real time.
It means when you describe your event, there’s a very good chance he’s seen something like it before — and can tell you what works, what doesn’t, and what you probably haven’t thought of yet.
That’s what you’re getting when you work with ME. Not just equipment, but the experience of using it — event after event — behind it.
Honest About Our Limits
For large or technically complex productions, we confirm the availability of a qualified supervisor before committing. Events that require complex custom rigging, large crew coordination, or full production management are assessed individually — and if we’re not the right fit, we’ll tell you.
We’d rather refer you to the right solution than overcommit on something we can’t deliver properly.
